Following a meeting with the 3rd annual Jordans Solicitors Wakefield Schools and Sixth Form Debating Competition judge, Kevin Rowswell, we would like to invite teachers, parents and business owners in Wakefield and the surrounding districts to a meeting to discuss the development of an English Speaking Union (ESU) branch in Wakefield.

The aim is that pupils (and teachers/parents) from local schools would be able to meet outside of school in a non-competitive environment to debate with each other. They would also be able to enter ESU competitions were local businesses can show their support for the Wakefield ESU branch.

At the meeting Kevin will be able to bring training materials and discuss this with you in more detail. Please email enquiries@jordanssolicitors.co.uk to confirm your attendance to the 5 – 6:30pm meeting in our King Street office on Tuesday 10th June 2014.
