Having hosted a very successful Artwalk last Wednesday, we thought we’d give you all an update on how it went! Approximately 80 people visited our boardroom throughout the evening to view Hoshi Dee’s fantastic work. Hoshi displayed a wide variety of works that she had created using her medium of paint pens — she likes to call this ‘drainting’, a mixture of drawing and painting.

These used subject matters such as owls, magpies and robins. As a bit of fun we decided to hold an informal competition to see which painting was the public’s favourite. It was a close thing, but the owl called ‘Bright Eyes’ was the overall winner, with the robin and the magpie coming close joint second.

‘Bright Eyes — the public’s favourite!’

You can see more of Hoshi Dee’s work on Facebook and Twitter. You can find more information on the Artwalk here.

We would like to thank everyone who attended the ArtWalk and look forward to seeing you on the next one!
