Wendy Ward will be showing her work at the Wakefield office of Jordans Solicitors as part of the Wakefield Artwalk on 25 November 2015.

Wendy has been painting and drawing for many years and is entirely self-taught. She paints in oils and her pastel drawings are done using hard pastels, which she prefers, and she also uses coloured pencils. She regularly take part in exhibitions in Wakefield, Sheffield and Holmfirth.

Wendy enjoys doing a variety of subjects including landscapes, seascapes, flower studies and birds of prey, taking her inspiration for those from wildlife artists such as Robert Bateman and Carl Brenders. Her coloured pencil drawings of cars are inspired by the cars themselves as she considers them also to be works of art and design.

Examples of her work are shown below and will be on display from 25 November.
