Barry Bennell, former coach of Crewe Alexandra has been charged with eight more counts of child sexual abuse relating to two boys who were at Crewe Alexandra between 1980 and 1987.

In January he pleaded not guilty to eight sexual offences against one boy under the age of 16 between 1981 and 1986. The allegations he now faces are two counts of indecent assault on a boy aged under 14 and a boy under 16 together with five other offences.

He pleaded not guilty to these new charges at the Chester Crown Court and was remanded in custody until his next Court appearance on the 20th March 2017.
