Jordans sponsored Lisa Ollivant when she undertook a skydive in aid of Wakefield Hospice. Lisa was bought the skydive as a birthday present and decided to use it to raise money for the hospice. She did the 15,000 foot jump at Hibaldstow Airfield on 7th May, freefalling at 120mph for the first minute. Although Lisa commented that it was a terrifying experience, with sponsorship from Jordans, friends & family she managed to raise £270 for Wakefield Hospice.

Published on 02/05/2012A man whose calls for help were ignored by a council leaving him to be abused by his adoptive father and boyfriend has been awarded £25,000 compensation. “Mr Cannon, 23, who has waived his right to anonymity, started a claim for compensation through his solicitor David Greenwood following the criminal case.
