MP opens our new Castleford offices

We have relocated our Castleford branch into new larger offices at Wesley Street. The opening of the newly refurbished offices took place on Friday 26th of June when MP for Pontefract, Castleford and Knottingley, Yvette Cooper returned to what was until recently her constituency office to officially open the new site. For Jordans the move will accommodate a three-fold increase in staff. Representatives from; the local council, Jordans clients, local business and the arts community all enjoyed a chance to network and have a look around over drinks and canapés.

David Greenwood has recently pushed the legal boundaries by successfully applying for early judgement in an historic child abuse claim.

Artists showcase

Jordan’s Wakefield office has been transformed into a gallery as a showcase for artists in collaboration with members of the Art House that opened last year on Drury Lane in Wakefield. Head of Company and Commercial law, Cathy Cook, wanted to support the Art House and also to raise the profile of Jordans in the local area. The Art House supports artists and provides specialist studios for disabled and non-disabled artists at their Drury Lane Premises.

Jordans Sponsor Race for Life

Jordans Solicitors has sponsored one of its employees in the Race for Life, which took place on Sunday 18th May 2008 at Temple Newsam in Leeds. The Race for Life is a charity event that aims to raise money for Cancer Research UK. Helen Hughes, solicitor, registered for the fund raising event with her two sisters and friend.
