Hat Trick Achievement for Legal Trio

Unique to the Kirklees area, All 3 branches of Jordans
Solicitors
have achieved APIL (Association of Personal Injury
Lawyers) Corporate Accreditation status.
Jordans are the only accredited firm in both Castleford and Dewsbury and one of only two in Wakefield. Jordans are also the only multi branch firm in the region to have all their branches accredited; this offers their clients a golden triangle of assured service for the Yorkshire area. APIL accreditation is known as a kitemark for competence and specialist expertise.
Andrew Brown, the head of the Personal Injury Department and a
partner based at the Wellington Road, Dewsbury, branch of Jordans
said "This recognition gives us a solid platform
for the growth and
expansion of the P.I. service offered by the
firm. I am very pleased that the hard work we have put
in, and the support we give our clients, has been acknowledged.
Achieving APIL accreditation is great news, not only for the
three Personal Injury Partners at Jordans, but more importantly
for our clients."
‘Many people are not aware of the differences in
the services offered in PI cases’ added Christine
Sands PI partner based at Wesley Street, Castleford and an APIL
Senior Litigator. ‘A lawyer is a qualified legal
practitioner, either a solicitor, barrister or legal executive,
who is regulated by the Law Society, the Bar Council or the
Institute of Legal Executives respectively. Claims management
companies are not
regulated by any of these bodies and usually
act as middlemen, not actually handling claims themselves.
This accreditation will reassure clients coming to the firm
for advice on personal injury matters that they are getting the
best service available’
All APIL-accredited lawyers are specialist personal injury practitioners with at least five years' experience of handling personal injury claims and must abide by a professional code of conduct and consumer charter. They are known as Litigators, Senior Litigators, Fellows or Senior Fellows, depending on the amount of experience they have. David Greenwood is one of only two fellows of the organisation in the Wakefield area; David is based at the Woolpacks Yard, Wakefield, Jordans branch. There are only nine such Fellows in whole of West Yorkshire.
