Divorce

Divorce – The process for obtaining divorce is generally straightforward. Normally it is a paper based procedure from Divorce Petition to Decree Absolute with no need to attend court in person. We will advise you on the most cost effective and efficient way with dealing with the divorce based on the circumstances of your case.

Financial Provision – This is often dealt with whilst divorce/dissolution proceedings are ongoing. Dealing with finances can be relatively simply or very complex. It will depend on the circumstances of your case. No two cases are the same and there are different ways of sorting out finances whether through mediation, collaborative law, negotiations through solicitors or court proceedings. We can assist you with all of these to enable you to resolve financial issues as efficiently and cost effectively as possible.

Children – Ideally, parents will reach an agreement about their children themselves. Sometimes that is not possible. In most cases we can assist you to achieve the best outcome for your children and yourself. It is not only parents who may need to advice about children matters but also grandparents and other family members. We have experienced lawyers who can advise you on the law relating to children, the options available to you and represent you at court if that is necessary.
