We are proud to be a host of the Wakefield November ArtWalk. For those who do not know what the ArtWalk is, on the last Wednesday of every second month a number of venues across Wakefield invite, often local, artists in to show their work and open their doors to the public. It is really an arty treasure hunt and participants are never entirely sure what they are going to find.

This time on Wednesday 27th November from 5pm to 8pm artist Alexandra Glew will be displaying Patterns in Nature, an exhibition of digital works, in our Wakefield office board room. This collection of work began as a range of photographs which she took whilst walking around the West Yorkshire countryside. She edited her photographs using Adobe Photoshop and manipulated her imagery to produce one off designs and repeats.

For anyone looking for a local night out with a difference please come along on an ArtWalk and visit our boardroom. Alexandra will be on hand to answer any questions about her work and refreshments will be provided. The artwork by Alexandra will be on display until the next ArtWalk. Please phone 01924 387110 ahead of your visit as the board room can be booked for meetings.

Further information is available from www.artwalk.org.uk and see Alexandra’s work here http://alexandraglew.wordpress.com/

*Update 27th November – Due to unforseen circumstances Alexandra was unable to attend the ArkWalk and her work is not on display.
