A fifty-six-year-old man is the seventh person to be arrested by officers from Operation Winthorpe who are investigating historical child sex abuse claims at two top private schools in West London.

The Metropolitan police said the man was being questioned “on suspicion of a non-recent sexual offence” at a West London police station.

Police are urging anyone with information in relation to the allegations an St Pauls and Colet Court to contact the investigation team via opwinthorpe@met.pnn.police.uk or 020 7161 0500, or call the NSPCC helpline on 0808 800 5000 or e-mail help@nspcc.org.uk.
