Indecent images of pupils have been found at the home of a deputy headteacher who was recently found dead, police say.
Martin Goldberg, 46, a teacher at Thorpe Hall School, in Southend, had nearly 500 images of children undressing in a swimming pool changing room and at two other locations.
The images appeared to have been taken on a camera that was hidden inside a bag, detectives said.
Goldberg was found dead at his home on September 10 – just a day after police questioned him on suspicion of buying pictures of naked teenage boys from abroad.
Officers said they had identified four of the children in the images and have informed parents.
