Jordans Solicitors are delighted that their fifth Wakefield Schools debating competition is coming together thanks to the expert advice and assistance from Paul Thomas at The Leeds Salon.

Participating in the competition this year we have teams from Queen Elizabeth Grammar School, Rodillian Academy, Ossett Academy, Silcoates School, Wakefield Girls High School and Woodkirk Academy. Qualifying Rounds for the six schools will be held on the 13th and 15th October and the 9th November. Among our judges for the Qualifying Rounds we are privileged to welcome Mary Creagh MP for Wakefield, Claire Lawson of Jolliffe Cork and John Kenealy, editor of the Wakefield Express.
