Michael Sean Carson, a former football coach and scout has today been arrested on suspicion of indecency and indecent assault with children. He was known as Kit Carson and was arrested today as part of the ongoing investigation into the allegations of abuse in sport.

Kit Carson has worked for football clubs including Norwich City, Cambridge United and Peterborough United. Cambridge police have confirmed that a man in his 70s remains in custody.

The investigation is working closely with local children’s safeguarding boards and councils and the Football Association as part of their investigations. All allegations and information received by the Police forces across the country are being acted upon.
