Katherine Lindley Solicitor in our Child Abuse Department is representing Jo Woods from Leeds who was abused as a child by Father Damien Webb, a Roman Catholic Priest.
Webb had links with the community and Jo would visit his home at St Benedict’s Church, Garforth in Leeds. She visited Webb aged 6 and in return for sitting on his knee he would give her chocolate and money and allow her to play on his typewriter. The abuse continued and progressed over a 2 year period.
Katherine is representing Jo in a civil case against the Church.
