Thirty men and one woman have been charged with raping and trafficking five girls between 2005 and 2012.

The woman is charged with two counts of facilitating the commission of a child sex offence, and all thirty men are charged with sexual abuse charges.

The allegations relate to five women who were abused as children in Huddersfield. At the time of the abuse the women were aged between 12 and 18. The abusers are mainly from the Huddersfield and Dewsbury area. The 31 convicted people will appear at Kirklees Magistrates Court on 5 and 6 September.
