Sixteen men, including a Police Officer PC Amjad Ditta, have been charged with offences against three girls in the Halifax area dating from 2006 to 2009.

The allegations against the men include charges of rape, sexual assault, trafficking and supplying drugs.

PC Ditta, 35, was attached to the West Yorkshire Police Protective Services Operations. He has been charged with sexual touching. He was a serving Officer at the time of the alleged offence. He is now suspended from duty.

The men will appear at the Bradford Magistrates Court on the 6th January 2020.
