As the situation with the outbreak of Covid-19 continues to evolve, we want to update you on our plans. At Jordans we have a business response team in place who are monitoring all updates to UK Government policy and guidance carefully.
Following World Health Organisation and government guidelines regarding Covid-19 for a couple of weeks now we have spent time structuring a plan that focusses on the Health and wellbeing of our employees and our clients whilst ensuring we can continue to provide all the legal services you need.
We’ve ensured that all our employees are aware of the risks of Coronavirus and how to mitigate against them; we want to keep everyone as safe as possible while continuing to provide our legal services.
Now recommendations are in place to try to slow the transmission of this virus, we will be implementing an extended “work from home” programme where the majority of our employees are able to work remotely with minimal interruption to our service. Working on a hosted desktop in the cloud – this means that confidential information and personal data will remain secure.
Whilst our current aim is for all our offices to remain open with a minimal level of staff able to observe recommended “social distancing”, we aim to take a sensible approach; not only to minimize the risk of infecting our own team members but also our clients.
To this end we have restricted business travel between branches and have cancelled any non-essential meetings.
Our staff will only be able to make home visits in exceptional circumstances. Instead we are able to organise remote video conferencing facilities if necessary. That said if, as a result of the way that this situation is affecting you personally, you need us to make some adjustments to the way that we provide our services to you, we will do all that we can to support your request.
