Children Allegedly Sexually Abused At Devon Nursery
A 17-year old boy has denied one charge of rape of a child and thirteen charges relating to eight children allegedly being sexually abused by him at a Devon Nursery.
The sexual touching of eight children is alleged to have taken place at the Jack and Jill Childcare in Torquay.
Jack and Jill Childcare was a private nursery which has since closed down.
An investigation into the nursery was launched in November and involved over hundred families being contacted.
The boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons has been released on conditional bail and is living outside the Devon and Cornwall force area.
Judge Timothy Rose at the hearing in Exeter Crown Court yesterday fixed the trial to be heard on the 21st September 2020.
The trial is expected to last two weeks.
