Chartered Legal Executive - Child Abuse Compensation
David Gibbs started his career in law in 1998 specialising in high value and complex Accident and Personal Injury claims. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (CILEx) and is currently studying a Masters in Legal Practice at Leeds Beckett Universty. David is also an Associate Member of the Solicitors Association of Higher Court Advocates.
He joined Jordan's Child Abuse Compensation team in 2013. It secures compensation for victims of child abuse - including multi party Group Litigation against various institutions, government departments and local authorities. He currently deals with cases which are part of two of the largest child abuse litigation cases in the UK, involving allegations of physical and sexual abuse at St Williams Children's Home and Medomsley Detention Centre.
David conducts advocacy at tribunal hearing for clients pursuing cases via the Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority.

Away from work, David enjoys spending time with his young children, films, eating out and sport, particularly football and basketball.
