Eastmoor Children’s Home has been subject to allegations of both sexual and physical abuse and assaults by members of staff between the 1960s and 1990s.
Eastmoor is also one of a number of children’s homes in the Leeds area being investigated by West Yorkshire Police under ‘Operation Polymer’ which has resulted in charges being brought so far against several former members of staff at Leeds children’s homes who worked at both Eastmoor and Whinmoor.
