St Vincents Approved School at Dartford began as an industrial school for boys which was run by Catholic Irish Brothers, and became an approved school in 1933. In the 1970s it became a Community Home with Education (CHE) before it eventually closed in the 1980s.
There have been a number of complaints in relation to physical and sexual abuse at the school.
