Mental health awareness week 12th – 16th May 2025

Mental Health Awareness Week 1

Mental health awareness week 12th – 16th May 2025: What is mental health awareness week?

This week we will be shining a light on mental health awareness week. This is a week that gives everyone an opportunity to talk about how we are feeling, raise awareness about mental health and be able to support each other.

This year the theme for the week is ‘community.’ This means focusing on the power and importance of the people around us. Having strong connections with people i.e., family friends, neighbours and others helps with feeling more supported and connected.

Mental health awareness week is important because lots of people struggle with mental health and for people who have suffered through abuse, it can be even harder. Trauma can lead to anxiety, depression and other issues. This week gives a chance for people to speak up, show support and remind people that they are not alone.

Here at Jordans Solicitors by helping people who have suffered through abuse, we ensure that the process is as safe and supportive as possible.  We understand how difficult it can be for a survivor to open up about the trauma that they have been through and that’s why we work with care and ensure we treat every case with sensitivity. Getting legal help can be a part of healing and we will always listen and believe every survivor and support you through every step of the claim.

Mental health matters and community makes a big difference especially for people who have been through abuse and at Jordans Solicitors we are proud to be part of that support.
