Rachel Barker Solicitor

Rachel works as a Solicitor in our Abuse Compensation Claims Department.  Rachel initially joined the Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence Department at Jordans Solicitors in November 2022 and then moved to the Abuse Department in 2024 and now leads the CICA Team.

She has extensive experience of claim handling and has successfully recovered compensation for many clients over the years.  She has experience of dealing with vulnerable clients within niche areas of law which has led her into specialising in abuse claims now.  She has successfully recovered significant amounts of compensation from the CICA during her time in the Abuse team including an award of over £200,000 and several other 6 figure amounts.  Rachel also has experience of challenging the CICA initial decision resulting in positive outcomes for her clients after reviews.

She prides herself in supporting her clients and being approachable whilst guiding them through the claims process and working hard to achieve the best results for them.
